Manager Employment Relations - National Role - Can be based in Brisbane or Gold Coast - Permanent Opportunity
Your new company
This international organisation is a world leader in food services and manufacturing. They have operations nationally and have a commitment to safety and providing effective customer solutions. A permanent opportunity has arisen to be based out of either their Brisbane or Gold Coast location as a Workplace Relations Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will develop, implement and manage a contemporary IR strategy and framework for the organisation nationally. You will:
- Lead the negotiations of their EBAs including negotiation roadmaps, developing effective relationships with unions and employer groups
- Work with senior leaders to design industrial relations strategy
- Provide expert advice to HR and leadership on IR
- Management of grievances, industrial disputes and representation at tribunals as necessary
- Ensure policies and processes comply with legislative requirements and industrial instruments
- Oversee due diligence around any employee relations matters
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a seasoned ER/IR practitioner with demonstrated success in similar roles, and experience leading and negotiating Enterprise Agreements. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, up-to-date knowledge of the Fair Work Act and legislation and be a skilled communicator.
