A new opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Manager or Director to join a local organisation.

Your new company
Our client, a leading organisation who operates across numerous sites within the Northern Territory is sourcing and experienced Manager of People and Capability to be responsible for operational and strategic HR processes

Your new role
This role will see you providing operational and strategic HR management ensuring the organisation follows best practice and is delivering on outcomes. You will be required oversee the development and review of policies and procedures across all aspects of the business and review and report accurate reporting to Senior management and the board ensuring the organisation is able to communicate, predict and plan employment needs and outcomes.

You will identify and lead the execution of the organisations Enterprise Agreements, employee contracts and labour hire agreements. You will also work with the Director of Corporate Services and other leadership roles to ensure there is active workforce plans and change management initiatives to support the business. This role will also see you providing strategic leadership for the management of people.

You will work on complex matters including the implementation of continuous improvement strategies within the company. This role will also provide strategic leadership encouraging the organisation to create a culture that is focused on best practice. This position is based in Darwin however, travel across the Territory may be required

What you'll need to succeed
You will have detailed and extensive knowledge and the ability to build, develop and advise on HR and L&D capabilities and work with key stakeholders on human capital reporting.

Your background in aligning HR and L&D operational processes to people strategies will have ensured that you have been successful in leading a proactive team and you will have previous experience in successfully planning, developing and implementing strategic plans and have expert knowledge in workplace legislation, industrial instruments and processes that identify and mitigate risks to organisations and employees.

You will have excellent leading and mentoring skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will understand the importance of building capability within an organisation and have successfully achieved this by using a collaborative HR approach. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Industrial Relations are essential and an AHRI certified qualifications are desirable.
