The Company

This innovative and progressive business designs, constructs, owns and operates premium high-end student accommodation buildings. These building can consist of several hundred rooms to accommodate students from all walks of life.

It serves as an inspirational place for students to live & work but also as a place where a unique student community can be created. 
With aggressive growth plans in place, the business is seeking an energetic, driven and customer focused HR Manager to oversee the HR function across the three sites. 
This is more than just buildings this is about the brand, the business is passionate that a fun vibrant culture and environment is felt throughout, in Head office and embedded in the service through the front line staff.

Key responsibilities
  • Create, influence and nurture emerging company culture 
  • Create strong face-to-face relationships with your diverse client group (100 staff and growing fast)
  • Manage escalations acting as the central point of contact for HR
  • Performance Management, on-boarding and contracts
  • Learning and Development 
  • Work with finance to ensure payroll is done accurately 
  • Lead people and culture change projects 
  • Partner with executive leadership offering valuable insights into future strategic goals 
  • Maintain HRIS system integrity
  • Employee relations 
  • Award interpretations 
Your Background 
  • Industry experience in hospitality, retail or accommodations such as casinos, resorts or related highly desirable – as this is business offering a 24/7 service offered.
  • Degree qualified in HR, Industrial relations or related. 
  • Sense of urgency, passion and drive. 
  • Ability to travel nationally on a frequent basis, often a few times a month will be required. 
  • A sense of humour
  • Thrive in a standalone environment

  • Salary between $130,000-$140,000 + Super + Bonus
