Organisational Change manager role working for a government body based in the eastern suburbs.

Your new company
A state government organisation based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The HR and Operations team is currently going through a transition period and are looking for an Organisational Change Manager to help drive the strategy of the OD and Change team. You will be responsible for managing a Organisational Change and Operations team.

Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture and consulting with senior stakeholders, the position will encompass a variety of responsibilities;

  • Design and develop the organisational change framework including the change impact assessment, business readiness assessment, training, communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage, lead and mentor a pool of Organisational Change and Communications staff, including demand management, recruitment, selection and performance management.
  • Identify opportunities for organisational performance improvement through internal diagnosis, understanding of OD best practice, and effective consultation.
  • Develop metrics to continually measure and assess the efficacy of change.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Organisational Development Specialist or as an OD Change Manager.
  • Experience managing an effective, high performing team to deliver solutions that compliment and support OD/Change strategic initiatives.
  • Ideally PROSCI, CMBOK or PCI methodology experience.
