Organisational Development Consultant - Contract

My client is a progressive and respected organisation with a reputation for research and excellence in all of its areas of service.  The Organisational Development team reflects the same values as the wider organisation and provides a proactive and comprehensive service to their internal client base. The OD team is part of the HR function and works very closely with the generalist HRBP's in particular.

The key responsibilities in this role include - 

Change Management - this includes supporting organisation with both cultural and structural change.

Consulting / Organisational Effectiveness - diagnostic work in areas such dysfunctional teams and recommending interventions

Staff Engagement - owning the entire process including the mechanics, analysing results and launching subsequent initiatives

Performance Management - Overseeing quantitative and qualitative activities e.g. are the conversations happening and are they meaningful.

Leadership Development - From middle manager 'essentials' to the senior leadership program

Succession Planning - Supports the development of a new framework

Please not the above list reflects the responsibilities of the OD function but everyone is involved in a variety of projects in as many areas as possible. Whilst the OD team is a CoE there is significant stakeholder engagement / client interaction.

The post-holder will have the opportunity to be involved in several projects alongside the BAU work.  One such project is the development of a brand new competency framework for professional staff,

To secure this position you will ideally have experience of working in a sophisticated OD team.  Internal consulting, leadership development and succession planning are seen as essential skills / areas of experience for the role.   Experience of previously developing a competency framework would also be highly regarded.
