Schedule: Part-time (3 days) 9 Months
Note: Hybrid Set Up 1 or 2 days in the office (Sydney CBD)

Job Description:
A leading global bank with a long history in the Asia-Pacific region is seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join their team in Australia.
This role is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for employees in Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure accurate and timely payments while maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll data for new hires, terminations, and ongoing staff
- Run bi-weekly payroll for Australia and New Zealand
- Handle terminations and manual payments
- Reconcile payroll deductions and ensure accurate tax and superannuation contributions
- Answer employee payroll inquiries
- Generate reports and maintain payroll records
- Assist HR and Payroll teams with projects
- Participate in annual system upgrades
Qualifications:
- Strong numerical skills and understanding of Australian and New Zealand employment laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Relevant degree in HR, Business, Finance, or similar field (preferred)
- Experience in CHRIS21/iChris or similar payroll system is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of payroll/accounting experience
