Autonomous role with the ability to add value within your region. High stakeholder engagement and ability to provide support in a matrix framework.

Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Manager located in Brisbane you will provide end-to-end employee lifecycle advice to key stakeholders in regards to employee engagement, planning, performance management, employee relations within your region.

  • Interpret and provide advice around FWA legislation and HR best practice;
  • Support with HR initiatives and projects within the business;
  • Champion the People and Culture process within the business to ensure efficiency;
  • Proactively collaborate with the business to minimise organisational risks through early intervention and identification, whilst providing effective solutions;
  • Build effective relationships within the business to ensure timely and suitable advice across the people function.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience working in a blue collar, multi-site environment. You will hold tertiary qualifications in HR or related field and experience in a medium-to-large organisation. Additionally, you will have an ability to build relationships at all levels, from front-line through to senior Management, and provide advice on all HR/ER related matters. This will require a proven ability in effective conflict resolution and facilitation of conversations surrounding performance management and disciplinary issues. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders and will require high level written and verbal communication skills.

This is a permanent opportunity, centrally located with free onsite parking. You will be supported by an inclusive and collaborative geographically dispersed HR team with the ability to add value in a somewhat autonomous role.
