About the Role

Based at our Sutherland location, the People and Culture Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of range of human resources functions.

Reporting to the Capability and Engagement manager, you will also work closely with the Manager of People and Culture and members of the P&C team to support them with their HR requirements and provide assistance on a range of strategic and operational human resources functions. Including but not limited to:

  • Providing support of day to day HR operation including on-boarding, learning and development, recognition programs, performance management, recruitment and general HR administration
  • Development of new policies and procedures as well as reviewing and maintaining existing policies and procedures on a schedule and as needed basis
  • Ensuring all employee records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner
  • Continuous improvement of human resources practices
  • Updating the People and Culture intranet page 
  • Providing support for WHS and Workers Comp administration

About You

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join a progressive organisation, leading in a newly created role you will:

  • Be organised, proactive and passionate about people
  • Ideally hold a minimum Cert III HR or related qualification would be highly regarded
  • Have knowledge of the Fair Work Act and/or how to access relevant employment legislation
  • Be solutions focused, you are always looking for ways to make things better, simple, easy
  • Have excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, meeting deadlines and the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Have sound knowledge and experience working within Industrial and employee relations
  • The ability to support an innovative and diverse P&C team on day to day activities and projects.
  • Have high level written communication skills, with a proven ability to develop practical yet compliant documents, policies and procedures
  • Be able to assist in the coordination of activities and projects
  • Be able to build trust and effective communication between the team to ensure completion of business objectives
  • Be able to predict needs, take action and be involved any way you can
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Are looking to grow your career working across a variety of tasks and projects
  • You have done this all before, and are ready to gain more skills and experience in a unique business

We are open to hours being structured to fit your lifestyle and our needs, this role can be full time or part time with flexible hours from 30 up to 38 hours per week across 5 days within our core business hours Monday to Friday.
