Hays is working with a well-known Hobart-based organisation in their search for a People's Services Officer on a permanent basis.

Your new role

The role is based in the Northern suburbs of Hobart and directly supports the wider People and Culture team within the organisation as an HR Generalist. The successful candidate will be involved in the following:

• Talent Pool Management: Develop and maintain a robust talent pool to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Graduate Recruitment: Lead and manage graduate recruitment programs to attract top talent from universities.
• WGEA Reporting: Oversee Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting ensuring compliance and promoting gender equality.
• Employee Benefits: Design and implement comprehensive employee benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
• EVP (Employee Value Proposition): Develop and communicate a compelling Employee Value Proposition to attract and retain top talent.
• Diversity Events and Awareness: Plan and execute diverse events and awareness programs to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
• Wellbeing Programs: Create and manage wellbeing programs to support the physical and mental health of employees.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have high attention to detail, excellent time management skills, confidence and the ability to work collaboratively.

Previous experience in a generalist HR role or relevant tertiary qualifications is essential. A current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) check is required for this organisation.
