The People and Culture team (in which this role is an integral part) has supportive and experienced management that will help you integrate yourself within the collegiate Council environment.

You will be situated in a modern work place situated near a local shopping precinct with multiple eateries. Parking is available, and the office is 500m from the nearest metro station.

Your new role
As the Recruitment Consultant you will ensure relevant systems, policies and procedures are also in place to support hiring managers achieve effective recruitment outcomes including candidate placement that meets cultural and technical fit requirements.

The role will be vital in strengthening the employee value proposition and support the development of an employer of choice brand to attract and retain a diverse and talented workforce.

You will support and coach hiring managers to help them navigate the many facets of the recruitment process and highlight the importance of quality recruitment practices. This includes associated administrative processes, including:

  • The management of Position Descriptions
  • Writing and posting job advertisements
  • Increasing recruitment policy adherence
  • Ensuring appropriate system requirements and subsequent interview panels and processes are in place

What you'll need to succeed
You will see recruitment as a holistic process and understand the importance of coordinating a qualitative approach to recruitment. You will also understand the importance of completing the administrative tasks associated with the end to end recruitment cycle in a large and complex organisation to a high degree of attention to detail. You will have:

  • Extensive experience in end to end recruitment
  • Experience using recruitment management software tools (ideally with recent experience utilising PageUp) Confidence to accurately advise and coach hiring managers with recruitment enquiries
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to recruitment policy and procedure
  • Experience to coordinate recruitment reports, analyse data and identify trends and patterns
  • Demonstrated background in achieving results and managing multiple priorities
  • Personable approach to collaborating with a diverse number of internal and external stakeholders
