Your new role
An exciting opportunity for someone to be responsible for creation and delivery of the recruitment strategy and initiatives to enhance and improve the candidate experience. This includes development and implementation of high quality, end-to-end recruitment practices to facilitate the successful attraction and selection of talent.
Responsibilities include:
- Offering expert advice to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy, emphasising outstanding candidate experience
- Create and apply recruitment standards based on data analysis and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with best practices. This includes setting metrics and KPIs.
- Coordinate tailored recruitment and attraction strategies for critical or hard-to-fill positions.
- Plan and execute national and international recruitment campaigns as needed to enhance brand awareness and attract applicants.
- Managing vendor relationships, including performance reviews, collaborating with commercial entities to negotiate terms, and addressing performance issues or breaches of agreement.
- Develop and implement initiatives aligned with EVP, covering recruitment, marketing, campaign planning, early talent acquisition, and talent pipelines.
- Lead specific projects and policy development as required.
- Provide expert consultation, coaching, and support to enhance recruitment capabilities within the People & Culture Team
What you'll need to succeed
- Postgraduate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, and/or extensive experience and proven success leading a full life cycle of talent acquisition activities
- Ability to make and influence the decisions, actions,or perceptions of others and to be straight forward and honest when doing so. Create networks which foster a complementary mix of knowledge, skills and abilities, to achieve goals and add mutual benefit and value
- Ability to investigate, identify and analyse key issues and the associated alternative, benefits and costs to develop practical solutions.
- Be creative and innovative when developing effective solutions and the ability to manage related risks.
- An understanding of when a decision needs to be escalated to others and working to try to identify and address potential problems before they arise.
- Ability to organise and present information, views and concepts in a concise, understandable and interesting format for a variety of audiences, from internal and external communities.
- Experience in building recruitment strategies is essential
