YOUR NEW COMPANY

Our clients are leaders in a specialised manufacturing industry. Due to a period of growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Officer/ Sourcing or Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their teams on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to enhance their experiences in a part-time role or a full-time more junior candidate who simply have a change in scenery in the Human Resources industry!

With a direct report to a HR Manager, you can liaise in a team environment and apart from day-to-day activities shine with strategic ideas to improve outcomes. The recruitment officer is responsible for finding, attracting and hiring new staff to the company. This includes sourcing candidates, carrying out interviews and assessing their suitability for the role, as well as managing the interview process. If you are interested in learning more about HR generalist duties this is your chance!

YOUR NEW DUTIES

  • Identify suitable candidates through networking, advertising and career fairs
  • Conduct interviews with candidates to assess their suitability for the role
  • Prepare recruitment packages to present to the team
  • Manage the interview process
  • Create job descriptions and write job adverts
  • Support hiring managers with on boarding new staff
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Provide career counselling to existing staff
  • Create employee handbooks and policies
  • ad hoc HR duties as they arise

WHAT YOU ARE / YOUR SKILLSET

  • Minimum 1 year Recruitment/Sourcing/HR experience
  • HR relevant qualifications
  • An excellent communicator whether that be verbal or written
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive and personable
