Your new company
Based in Melbourne's CBD, this government organisation is seeking a Remuneration & Benefits Specialist with demonstrated experience in Rewards, Remuneration and Benefits. Initially 6 months this opportunity is likely to go permanent.

Your new role

  • Develop and implement remuneration and benefit policies, Performance planning and best approaches in line with business strategy
  • Lead and manage the implementation of remuneration and benefits strategies, Incentive plan and maintenance policies to recognise and reward
  • Coordinate and undertake remuneration benchmarking surveys, including participation, managing, collating, and interpreting data, and preparing recommendations for remuneration practices
  • Advising on rewards and benefits solutions including salary planning, market analysis, benefits planning, changes to remuneration practices that support business needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated significant experience in Reward, Remuneration & Benefits relevant to this position, including a sound understanding of strategic processes, systems and techniques required in supporting business objectives
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in the provision of accurate, confidential and sensitive advice and support to senior management, and in negotiation with staff, management and union representatives on organisational issues
  • A tertiary qualification or extensive experience in reward, remuneration and benefits role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and participate in projects relating to the development, implementation and review of major organisational Human Resource policies, issues and initiatives
