An opportunity has arisen to lead an experienced Safety and Wellbeing team within a large financial services corporation.

You new organisation is passionate about ensuring its people can perform at their best in a work place that is safe and inclusive.

This role will partner with the business directly and as part of your broader remit you will have the opportunity to present up to Board level and work with Senior Leadership teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and driving the implementation of a Safe and Well Roadmap to deliver on agreed targets
  • Reporting on safety and wellbeing performance against obligations and targets up to Board level
  • Partnering with external vendors around injury management, employee assistance and workers compensation
  • Ensure Safety and Wellness advice is commercial, compliant and informed by safety risk profiles
  • Drive quality assurance, compliance and alignment to group-wide frameworks and policies and the integration of Safe and Well initiatives against endorsed standards and annual plans
  • Connect with external trends, legislative environments and practices to ensure internal compliance

You the ideal candidate will bring;

  • 8 + years evidence of success in a well being and safety role built within a corporate environment.
  • Experience within financial and/or white collar environments is essential
  • Strong understanding of risks and controls and a balanced 'partnering' approach when dealing with the business
  • Leadership experience and a passion for coaching, motivating and engaging teams
  • Exceptional communication skills written and verbal
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
