An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a local organisation based in Darwin.

Your new company
Our client, a health organisation, whose focus is to support, promote and provide health services across the Northern Territory is actively sourcing an experienced Senior HR Advisor to be an integral member of the People and Capability team on a 12-month fixed term basis

Your new role
Reporting to and supporting the Manager of People and Capability, this generalist position will see you leading the Employee Relations requirements of the business with a core focus on case management, investigations, mediation and resolutions. You will be experienced in complex matters and have practical experience working with Fair Work Australia and legislation.

This role will also see you partner with local and regional managers to help build, develop and align the talent requirements and complete generalist HR activities. You will support the research, development and execution of the organisations on-boarding and learning and development structure and provide recommendations and reporting data to the board on workforce capabilities and operating models. You will support the education of the management team to allow them to have a solid understanding of key HR elements including, Enterprise Agreement, Fair Work and Recruitment legislation, internal policy and procedures and best practice.

This role is based in Darwin, NT and may also require you to travel to remote communities by car or light aircraft

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Generalist, with demonstrated capability in complex case management and investigations. You will enjoy working in a fast paced and at times challenging environment. You will welcome the responsibility to be a leading figure in the organisation and work with staff to influence adoption of HR practices and work to build a positive work culture.
