Senior HRIS Implementation Consultant - Contract

My client is a reputable organisation, with a strong brand both as an employer and for the outstanding services it provides.

The large and sophisticated HR team has recently launched Workday and retired the old HRIS.  The implementation has been led by a project lead, and several team members who will continue to act as subject matter experts.  This role will work closely with that team but will functionally sit in the Organisational Development team focusing on the the implementation of two modules - performance and talent.

Reporting to the Head of OD, responsibilities will include - 
  • Working with the OD team, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
  • Evaluating functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimise the use Workday
  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training
The ideal candidate will have previously been involved in a HRIS implementation, ideally Workday but other system experience can be considered.  You will also have a good understanding of HR operations (essential) and OD initiatives (desirable).  Your experience may be as an HRIS specialist or perhaps you have a generalist or specialist HR background but have been heavily involved in a HRIS implementation.
