A 6-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced senior HR lead to join a local organisation

Your new company
Our client, a leading organisation within the NT business are actively sourcing a tertiary qualified and experienced senior HR supervisor / lead to join their team on a fixed term basis with the option of extension.

Your new role
This leadership position will see you overseeing the operational management of the HR team whilst working with the executive team to lead the delivery of HR practices amongst the organisation. You will oversee and ensure the delivery of all Employee Relations and advisory services and support with innovative solutions to the overall development of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a small team responsible for developing and implementing effective strategy, policy and tools to achieve operational effectiveness and enhancing capabilities
  • Research, design and implement HR strategy
  • Provide advise and direction to the Executive team including the CEO and senior managers on policy and delivery
  • Develop workforce strategy including on-boarding, succession planning and recruitment
  • Assist in preparation of high level reporting needs for external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate strong experience in a senior HR capacity. You will ideally be immediately available and residing in the Northern Territory - Interstate applicants are welcome to apply. Your career will have seen you develop strong communication and negotiation skills within a complex organisational environment. Your high level knowledge and practical application of HR principals will highlight your developed leadership and management capabilities. You will have strong reporting and analytical skills and be comfortable to the commitment of a 6 month placement with the option of extending.
