Senior Injury Management Advisor with experience in end to end Psychological and Physical claims.

Your new company
You will be working for a secure and award-winning not-for-profit organisation with over 3,500 staff across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. You will be based in Chatswood from the beginning of the New Year in brand new, ultra-modern offices.


Your new role
As Senior Injury Management Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a high volume of claims including Psychological and Physical injuries.
  • Managing new and existing claims, sending directions and making referrals to relevant doctors/facilities.
  • Escalating risk to case managers where issues arise.
  • Coordinating with relevant teams when challenging a claim.

You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement new strategies, support training and education of new strategies, early intervention and injury triage. You will also be involved in creating a new booking service and preferred network of healthcare providers.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have the relevant education in Psychology/Allied Health/Occupational Therapist/Rehabilitation Councillor etc.
You will be resilient, have experience managing a large caseload and/or working within a large organisation.
You will take a hands-on approach and be passionate about safety, you will value performance based results and be passionate about new ideas and improvement.
You will be familiar with all relevant injury management and health and safety legislation.
You will also need to be able to travel as this role covers sites across NSW and ACT.
