Your new company
You will be joining on of Sydney's largest construction and engineering businesses on a massive project. Recently returned to site, you will be expected to be on-site in the Glebe area.

Your new role

  • Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team to roll out L&D programs.
  • Working closely with the HR Manager and Support Services Director to roll out key initiatives in engagement, Reward & Recognition, Women in Construction, Safety and Health and Wellbeing.
  • Improving staff professional development and engagement using a targeted L&D approach. You will be considered an L&D specialist with experience in facilitation, program design and development, strategy and implementation as well as continuous improvement processes.
  • Capturing current performances in order to design and structure targeted L&D programs, improving training for staff at all levels.
  • There will be an element of facilitation and delivery of courses, but also proactively engaging with training organisations, packing courses and coordinating programs for the business.
  • Developing a strategy, budgets, working with training organisations, supply chain and targeting program for exciting projects commencing 2022/2023.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Be comfortable spearheading the L&D initiatives, as this role is essentially the second in command to the HR Manager on the project.
  • At least 8 years L&D experience.
  • Construction/ mining/engineering/oil and gas background preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience rolling out previous HR engagement initiatives.
