This organisation in the Public Sector is looking for a Senior Workplace Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced WH&S professional with prior public sector experience to start a new role within this supportive and growing team!
YOUR NEW DUTIES
- Be the point of contact for WH&S matters
- Cover safety, wellness, Return to Work
- Managing complex injuries
- Preventing vicarious trauma
- Develop wellness program
- Coordinate WH&S committee
- Ensure Covid Safe protocols are up to standard
- Monitor safety of physical space
- Draft safety policies, procedures and forms
- Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain compliance measures
- Facilitate safety training
WHAT YOU ARE / YOUR SKILLSET
- WH&S experience in the public sector
- Relevant Qualifications/Certificates
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
- Expertise with Government HRIS to hit the ground running
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

- Mid July Start - this is flexible for the right candidate
- Full Time 12 Month contract
