Service Design Learning and Development Specialist required until 30 June 2022 with option to extend

This sought-after agency leads a hugely diverse range of policy issues that affect Australians economically and socially whilst protecting the country against international threats.

Your new role
Your new role will be as an experienced Service Design Learning and Development Specialist brought on to develop a service design training roadmap, including training contact and timing of training activities.

With support from service design practitioners, you will lead the facilitation of engaging and interactive service design and user research training and demonstrations to test, validate and refine the service design training package.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
  • Skills and experience in training design, evaluation and assessment
  • Developing, facilitating and evaluating complex adult vocational education solutions
  • Managing the co-ordination of complex adult vocational education solutions
  • Managing complex adult vocational learning programs

You will be expected to have an understanding of the following:

  • Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate (ADDIE) model to develop learning solutions
  • Learning evaluation methodologies and techniques
  • Adult learning theories and principles
  • Application of the Department's learning and development related platforms, tools, programs, and systems
  • The Department's operational processes, departmental policies and processes, and learning and development policy and procedures

You must be an Australian Citizen and obtain or be willing to undertake the baseline security clearance process as well as the departments own employee suitability check.
