Your new company
Acting as a single point of contact for Small to Medium Enterprises (SME's), your new employer has a membership base of over 400 SMEs (and growing) providing access to a range of major procurement panels.

Your new role
As the Subcontractor Engagement Manager, you will be tasked with facilitating and coordinating resources and subcontractors to meet contract deliverables to maximise efficiency and profitability, whilst meeting the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll be working into a variety of locations, with many requiring security clearances, and liaising with contractors and subcontractors with differing professional capabilities from administration to degree qualified high-level consultants with international experience. This is a valuable role and serves to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, in-turn supporting the continued growth of the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients to ensure deliverables are being met and to identify further opportunities
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Visit contractors to ensure engagement and compliance with company requirements
  • Ensure all contractors are operating within client security and WHS guidelines
  • Conduct contractor onboarding and departure procedures
  • Maintain company systems and physical and digital records
  • Create internal reports as required
  • Work collaboratively with staff to achieve desired company goals

What you'll need to succeed

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Hold a current baseline security clearance or be willing and able to obtain one
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • An experienced people manager
  • A team player, have a collaborative approach and communicate with influence
  • Be proactive and lead from the front with your work
  • Previous experience working in a contractor or labour hire environment
  • Previous HR experience, with exposure to recruitment and WHS
  • Well developed and demonstrable stakeholder engagement skill set
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Full drivers license with your own vehicle (charge back on km's)
  • Able to work in the office fulltime (due to the nature of work, WFH options are not available)
