How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne…

Our Talent Acquisition function is evolving and we want you to be a part of the transformation.

In this role, you will work with us to define our new way forward, you will utilise your knowledge of end to end recruitment and exceptional administrative skills to assist us to uplift our service for our customers and to ensure a positive candidate/employee experience.

Our people are important, so we have invested heavily in a new HRIS (SuccessFactors) that will enable us to streamline processes for our customers, discontinue disjointed systems, have access to rich data and insights and provide our team with digital capabilities to help us work smarter and provide more opportunities for proactive and strategic talent sourcing.

On the day to day, you will oversee the progress of our open vacancies, work with our Talent Partners when allocating new roles, process pre-employment checks, respond to recruitment related queries from candidates and hiring managers and contribute to the review and development of our policies, processes and ways of working.

What you will bring

You have experience in working in a similar administrative role where organisation, customer service and attention to detail are high on your top skills list. You have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and build new relationships with ease.

You are comfortable in utilising technology and have worked with either candidate management or HRIS software. You are comfortable in contributing ideas to a team discussion and enjoy working through process improvement opportunities.
