ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead a team of consultants and play a hands on role with implementing Workday as we continue to embed our talent acquisition strategy across the business.  The Talent Acquisition Manager will support strategies, projects and activities which build overall people capability and best practice, building strong partnerships with both internal and external customers, agencies and other vendors. We have the opportunity for a thorough handover period to ensure a smooth transition into the new year.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the P&C team this role will see you:

  • Assist in the review and development of the People Strategy and annual plan
  • Develop and implement strategies and projects for improved talent assessment practices
  • Delivering a pipelines of qualified candidates to meet both existing and forecasted needs
  • Develop talent pools and proactively sourcing strategies
  • Recommend strategies and initiatives to enhance HR practices in franchised stores.
  • Lead and manage the 7-Eleven Retail Leadership Graduate Program
  • Deliver recruitment masterclasses coaching and training managers on best practice
  • Identify and recommend strategies to improve cost effective recruitment practices
  • Contribute to developing, reviewing and monitoring of Recruitment policies and procedures
  • Lead and develop a team of consultants to deliver a quality service to our organisation

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Ideally you bring leadership experience from an internal or RPO environment with experience configuring and implementing a system, ensuring effective use of our new ATS as well as reporting and measuring activity. You will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, while continuously building strong recruiting networks and developing innovative and creative methods and techniques to source talent. While experience in the retail industry is advantageous we are looking for the right relationship building capabilities, leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
