Talent and Resource Manager 12 month FT opportunity working for a Victorian State Government Authority.

Your new company
A leading state government department are seeking an experienced Talent and Resource Manager to take over an existing role for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. They are looking for a professional who has experience in end to end recruitment and management of a recruitment team. This position will support a wide-range of initiatives, both operational and strategic, and will allow you to build your expertise by exposing you to a broad scope of people and responsibilities.

Your new role
Reporting to the GM of HR and consulting with the highest level of stakeholder, the position will encompass a variety of responsibilities:

  • Manage the talent and resource functions across a growing and changing organisation.
  • Manage a team who will recruit for a large number of executive and management roles while also managing relationships with external tenders.
  • Work closely with the OD team to assist with organisation transformation program and assess what skills will be in demand.
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of end to end talent and resourcing processes including retention, succession planning and career path mapping.
  • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion the organisation's vision, values and brand through example setting in operational excellence, quality assurance and professional behaviour ensuring effective team mentoring where required
  • Advise, guide and coach the development of the experienced recruitment team.
