Your new role
As the WHS Compliance and HR Manager you will drive strategy and implementation across human resources, work health, safety, welfare and compliance. By planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations, structures and performance the WHS Compliance and HR Manager will add value to the organisation through great people policies and procedures.

In your new role you'll report directly to the Director of Operations and a key contributor within the Executive Team. This role is supported by an administrator and works into the Executive Tea, Operations Team, Client Safety and Environment officers and most importantly the 150 cleaners across 5 divisions nationally. This is a dynamic and fast paced role that requires a collaborative, consultative and collegiate approach to leadership.

What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR practices and associated IR legislation is required in conjunction with a high-level capability in dealing with people and people related issues.

  • Demonstrated high level stakeholder engagement skill set with a people-centric approach.
  • 3 years+ experience in a multisite WHS role with a focus on HR management.
  • The ability to work and communicate as part of a team, as a leader and as a safety expert with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident to self-navigate new technology and application-based software.
  • High level of understanding and commitment to WHSE, quality and IR issues
  • Hold a minimum Certificate IV in WHS.
  • Qualifications in HR management, such as a Certificate IV in HR.
