Your new company
You will be joining a large Federal Government agency with a strong presence across the East Coast. Working in a specialised business centre, this area has a national oversight of workload management and resourcing.

Your new role
As the Workforce Management Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including collaborate with leadership on day-to-day forecasts, resources, scheduling and business performance.
  • Effective forecast to ensure accurate distribution of resources to meet multiple workload demands, aligned with SLA and other operational needs. Identify and provide advice on coverage and emerging risks.
  • Plan and manage the identification and allocation of overtime resourcing.
  • Provide support to schedulers and guide them on any required changes to forecasts and schedules.
  • Manage schedules, monitor service levels in real time, to make required adjustments and ensure efficiencies are maintained.
  • Support in identification, development, and implementation of business improvement initiatives.
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of practices.
  • Support team in documenting processes and creating relevant Work Instructions/Guidelines.
  • Promote importance of capturing correct, reliable data. Proactively review data resources.
  • Leadership responsibilities, including managing team performance, feedback, development.
  • Quality assurance of schedules and data sources and outgoing communications to stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate and support team/organisational goals and objectives.
