Workplace Relations Consultant role working for a large complex government body. 12 month Fixed Term role

Your new company
An excellent opportunity to work for a public sector stat body. Our client requires a Workplace Relations Consultant to join their busy HR team and work closely with Senior Managers to negotiate a new EBA. The organisation operates in a complex space and are looking for this professional to have demonstrated experience in either the Victorian State Government or a large complex private organisation.

Your new role
Focused on employee relations issues, you will support the HR Manager and Business Partners with complex cases and people matters. You will provide advice and make recommendations and have experience managing complex ER/IR cases end to end. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work within a supportive and welcoming team. Managing cases, advising on employee issues and supporting change processes. The role will also see you managing the new EBA negotiations. The organisation have multiple unions and you will also manage processes with fair work and the Victorian state government.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have an excellent understanding of workplace relations having worked on an array of different employee relations cases, ideally within the Victorian State Government. You will show excellent attention to detail and be a process driven person. It is important that you are empathetic yet resilient and adaptable. You will have experience dealing with Unions and EBAs. Experience in the Victorian State Government is ideal.
