Fixed Term Workplace Relations Officer within a Union Setting

Your new company
A large Union with over 80,000 Members based in Melbourne is seeking an expert in Discrimination and Harassment to join their team. A respected, professional and dedicated organisation, you will work with highly experienced and passionate individuals.

Your new role
In this unique role you will be the expert on matters involving Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Harassment. When matters arise in this area, you will be the go to person to analyse and coach the team on how to work through these issues and ultimately decide on the best action. You will have a good team around you and legal support if required.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working in HR, ER or a legal/policy background with a focus on Discrimination and Harassment is essential. Ideally you will have worked in the healthcare sector, or in a clinical setting. You will have a very strong understanding of workplace employment law, discrimination and harassment.

What you'll get in return
A fixed term contract until the end of January 2022, with opportunities likely to arise from this within the organisation. Paid fat $107k + 15% super, you will be entitled to all this organisations benefits such as paid Christmas shut down, accrued days off and more.
