Your new role
As an APS4/5 Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in supporting end-to-end recruitment processes across a range of business areas. Working within a collaborative HR team, you will ensure recruitment activities are compliant with APS legislation and aligned with agency workforce strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling, and merit-based selection

Drafting and reviewing job advertisements, selection documentation, and candidate communications

Providing advice on APS recruitment policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Supporting bulk recruitment rounds and talent pools

Liaising with internal stakeholders and external candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment experience

Maintaining accurate records and using eRecruitment systems
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in APS recruitment processes and understanding of merit-based selection

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
-
Proficiency in recruitment systems and Microsoft Office
-
A current Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one (highly desirable)
