Your new role

As an APS5 WHS Advisor, you will report to the Senior WHS Advisor and play a crucial role in implementing WHS strategies and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, responding to WHS incidents, and providing advice to stakeholders. You will also support health and wellbeing initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • WHS qualifications and experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 or a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment
