Your new role

As an APS5 Workforce Analyst, you will contribute to the delivery of workforce insights and structural integrity across the organisation. You'll work within a collaborative HR team to analyse workforce data, support organisational design, and ensure the accuracy of HR systems.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Analysing workforce data to identify trends and inform strategic planning
  • Using statistical techniques to generate insights and recommendations
  • Supporting the development of dashboards and reporting tools
  • Assisting with structural updates and issue resolution in HRMIS (e.g. Aurion)
  • Collaborating with HR teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Managing and prioritising requests through a shared mailbox
  • Contributing to workforce analytics projects and initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Experience in workforce data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with HRMIS systems (e.g. Aurion, TechOne) and HR processes
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and basic statistical techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools (highly desirable)
  • A current Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one (highly desirable)
