Your new role

As the Head of Organisational Development (Strategic Workforce Future), report to the Chief People and Culture Officer and lead the enterprise‑wide organisational development and capability agenda, with a strong focus on future workforce readiness. This role integrates strategic workforce planning (SWP), leadership and capability uplift, organisational development frameworks, and talent/succession planning.
You will be responsible for designing and embedding a multi‑year workforce strategy that reflects organisational priorities, member needs and capitalises on the opportunities created by the adoption of AI, automation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities
  • Establish and embed an enterprise Strategic Workforce Planning framework with 3/5/10‑year scenarios.
  • Assess AI and digital impacts on work; support the organisation to be fit for the future identifying capability needs and transition pathways.
  • Lead organisational development frameworks and simplify where needed to ensure strong adoption.
  • Oversee leadership development, partnering with external providers to uplift capability and executive readiness.
  • Integrate talent and succession planning into the SWP model to ensure long‑term workforce sustainability.
  • Lead a team of six (OD and L&D) to deliver practical, high‑quality learning programs aligned to TMBL's values and future needs.
  • Support culture, capability and workforce alignment across transformation programs, including the AMBL merger.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Deep OD expertise with strong enterprise‑level strategic workforce planning capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert AI/digital insights into practical workforce solutions.
  • Strong transformation mindset, able to simplify complexity and drive organisation‑wide adoption.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and executive storytelling skills.
  • Systems thinking, curiosity and the confidence to challenge norms.
  • Cross‑industry experience advantageous.
