HR Advisor perm position based in Sydney Inner West 100k plus super

Your new company

As the HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle while ensuring best‑practice HR operations. This is a busy, hands‑on role offering broad exposure across HR. This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of $100k plus super based in Sydney Inner West. This role has flexible working 4 days in the office and one day working from home.

Your new role

Your Duties will include:
  • Staying up to date with the Fair Work Act and relevant industrial instruments, providing timely and accurate compliance advice.
  • Managing confidential HR matters within your scope of experience.
  • End-to-end recruitment experience
  • Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and general employee lifecycle administration.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for parental leave and managing the full PL lifecycle.
  • Liaising with hiring managers to ensure all job descriptions are accurate and up‑to‑date.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and producing regular HR reports and presentations.
  • Preparing HR documentation, including letters and service awards.
  • Coordinating work placement/intern programs
  • Serving as a key contact for employee engagement initiatives, including team meetings and internal events.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1-3 years of HR experience, ideally in a corporate or structured environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to self‑manage.
  • A genuine passion for good HR practice and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting.
  • Experience using HR systems
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a small but high‑performing team
