The opportunity exists to join a top tier mining contractor on a six-month contract. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

The provision of generalist advice regarding policies and procedures, legislation, industrial tools, and employee relations

Support the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding

Provide coaching and development to line management to drive performance, development, cultural initiatives and annual cyclical activities

Support performance management, grievances and disciplinaries, escalating complex cases accordingly

Play an active role in designing, developing and executing HR projects where required
To be successful in your application, you will possess a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related specialism with an operational generalist human resources background at an advisory level.
You will possess experience either from within a shared service or the mining and resources sector, and it is essential that you have a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards, including the interpretation of modern awards and enterprise agreements.

This position will initially be offered on the basis of a six-month fixed term contract and an immediate start would be preferred.
