About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support a not‑for‑profit organisation during a period of consolidation and improvement. This is a hands‑on, operational HR role supporting approximately 55 employees across six locations in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update employment contracts, remuneration and related documentation to ensure alignment with current legal requirements.
- Provide day‑to‑day HR advice and support to staff and local leaders
- Maintain and manage HR files and records, ensuring confidentiality and continuity
- Support and further embed existing HR systems and processes
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees as required
- Support the recruitment of several upcoming roles, including part‑time and senior positions
- Some work may entail interstate visits - short term, e.g. a one-day trip (but some availability is required for occasional overnight if needed)
About You
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of employment contracts, compliance and HR processes
- Confident providing HR advice to leaders and employees
- Comfortable working independently in a small, values‑driven organisation
- Organised, discreet, and able to manage confidential information appropriately
