Your new company is a growing business located in the centre of Kiama.

Your new role

As a HR Generalist, you will be supporting the business with a range of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Lead development, implementation and review of operational HR initiatives
  • Provide support and advice to optimise employee performance
  • Investigate grievances in accordance with the Award and legislation requirements
  • Lead a small team of 3 to ensure appropriate administration of the recruitment and selection process, employee terms and conditions and exit process.
  • Coordinate the Employee Assistance Program
  • Provide advice to managers and employees on HR related matters
  • Consult on IR related matters to ensure compliance with legislation and Awards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant experience in a similar HR Generalist role
  • Relevant experience in handling Industrial Relations matters
  • Working experience with TRIM and/or TechOne will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading a small team of HR Coordinators/ Recruiters

What you'll get in return

  • This is a temp role with an immediate start and until the 16th December, with the possibility of extension for a couple of weeks after Christmas.
  • Possibility to WFH up to 2 days a week
  • Hourly rate $50-60ph + Super
