Your new company is a growing business located in the centre of Kiama.
Your new role
As a HR Generalist, you will be supporting the business with a range of activities, including but not limited to:
- Lead development, implementation and review of operational HR initiatives
- Provide support and advice to optimise employee performance
- Investigate grievances in accordance with the Award and legislation requirements
- Lead a small team of 3 to ensure appropriate administration of the recruitment and selection process, employee terms and conditions and exit process.
- Coordinate the Employee Assistance Program
- Provide advice to managers and employees on HR related matters
- Consult on IR related matters to ensure compliance with legislation and Awards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant experience in a similar HR Generalist role
- Relevant experience in handling Industrial Relations matters
- Working experience with TRIM and/or TechOne will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading a small team of HR Coordinators/ Recruiters
What you'll get in return
- This is a temp role with an immediate start and until the 16th December, with the possibility of extension for a couple of weeks after Christmas.
- Possibility to WFH up to 2 days a week
- Hourly rate $50-60ph + Super
