Overview:
We are working with a prestigious and unique private school based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. We are seeking an experienced Learning professional to support the construction of a learning framework from the ground up, with a key focus on teacher professional development and accreditation. This role will also involve policy and program development, and time permitting may also support operational HR generalist tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a comprehensive framework to support teacher professional growth and accreditation pathways.
- Create foundational policies and programs to establish structured learning and development initiatives.
- Design formal pathways to support career progression.
- implement a teacher training placement program alongside the department of education
- Assist with recruitment processes, onboarding (including staff migrating from overseas), and general HR administration.
- Work with HR systems such as ELMO or equivalent tools.
Ideal Candidate:
- The client is open! You may be a HR Generalist with L&D skills, a Learning Professional or perhaps an ex-teacher
- Proven experience in policy and program development; familiarity with education or teaching environments is a strong advantage.
- Strong writing and organizational abilities; experience with HR systems (e.g., ELMO) is highly desirable.
- French is a bonus but not required.
- Comfortable working in a flexible environment, including shared desks and varying workspaces within the school.
