The Officer, Human Resources will perform a broad range of human resources support tasks in a small agency. Our environment means that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a role in all areas of human resources. They will be relied on to help deliver a quality service. The key duties will be a mix of administrative and policy across the entire employment cycle.
A typical day might involve advising on terms and conditions, reporting on leave, updating the payroll, placing some job ads, and helping with new policy consultation. It is unlikely that any two days will be the same as you seek to respond to internal requests and meet objectives of routine task goals or special project deliverables. This is a busy role with a broad remit across human resources.
To be successful in this position you will need attention to detail and a willingness to learn. You will apply your good customer service skills to respond to staff and enhance staff trust in the team.
