Our Client
Our client is located north of the river and is looking for a People and Culture Advisor to join the team to assist with project-based work. This is a temporary role for 6 weeks, to start as soon as possible and may be extended for the right person.
The role
As a People and Culture Advisor, you'll play a vital role in providing support and will work alongside the employee relations specialist to assist with a project to re-classify a proportion of the workforce. This role will require you to interpret award classifications and review award documentation. You will also support management and staff on employment matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a fair, supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reclassification of a proportion of the workforce
- Review award documentation and contracts
- Review and interpret pieces of law and review methodologies behind classifications
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards
- Remuneration and benefits experience would be desirable but is not essential.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Proven experience in employee relations, including enterprise agreement negotiations and salary benchmarking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analysis experience
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- A commitment to fostering a compliant, respectful, and positive work environment.
What they Offer
This role is paying $50p/h.
