Your new company

In this newly created role, you will be working within a growing, collaborative, fast-paced, 'family-like' team, where you will be responsible for process improvement across their projects and program resource planning. This is an 8-month contract paying $800p/d + super.

Your new role

The Delivery Office Resource Manager ensures IT resources align with project demands. This role involves tracking the project pipeline, collaborating with delivery and practice leads, and planning resource allocation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, strategic, and passionate about improving resourcing processes.
  • Resource Planning & Allocation
  • Track project pipeline to align resources with demand.
  • Collaborate with managers to understand resource needs and allocate them accordingly.
  • Adjust plans based on project changes.
  • Conduct regular meetings to manage resource conflicts and decisions.
  • Ensure timely onboarding/offboarding of resources.
  • Stakeholder Support & Collaboration
  • Guide managers on resource planning and capacity constraints.
  • Assist in developing realistic resourcing plans.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency
  • Identify and implement improvements in resource management tools and processes.
  • Maintain resource management guidelines and templates.
  • Reporting & Insights
  • Provide insights on resource utilisation and capacity risks.
  • Enhance dashboards and reports for better visualisation.
  • Monitor metrics to support data-driven decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3+ years in resource management or workforce planning.
  • Proficiency in Clarity PPM, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of IT delivery models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in matrixed or enterprise IT environments.
  • Proven track record of process improvements.
