What sort of feedback do you get from other advertisers?
Generally speaking, our regular advertisers understand the differences between JobsinHR and the mainstream advertising products and their feedback is consistent in that JobsinHR deliver quality rather than quantity, in terms of candidate response. Some of the feedback we get is verbal, but we have included below a few comments received by email, all of which was unsolicited!
From the branch manager of a leading HR Recruitment Specialist....
"Just FYI we have been getting new candidates that wouldn't typically apply through Seek so it seems to be working!"
From the owner/principal of a boutique specialist search firm...
"Yes, our Consultants use it all the time because of the large number of HR roles we handle.".
"Their feedback is that it's good in that it delivers higher quality candidates and less volume however it's best used in conjunction with Seek, MyCareer, press advertising etc."
From the General Manager, HR, for a major publicly listed services company...
"Could you please take down our advert. We have filled the role through Jobs in HR - first time used and a great success."
From the HR Manager of a major investement bank 8 days after placing their advert
"We just filled the position we advertised - and are delighted that the applicant was through the jobs in HR advert!!"
How long will my advert stay on your web site?
By default, adverts are automatically removed from our site after one calendar month, or at the closing date and time for specified in the job ad. We can also remove adverts earlier, or extend the closing date by request (there is no charge to extend the closing date).
What does your subscriber count really mean?
Whenever we quote subscriber numbers we refer to the number of people who are currently subscribed to receive our email bulletin each week. This does not include past subscribers, who have found a new position and unsubscribed (not everyone does this, depending on the nature of their new position, some people stay subscribed).

What is the total readership?
Our subscriber count represents the minimum number of people who receive our bulletin. We see regular evidence that our bulletin is often forwarded to other readers who are not yet subscribed, however we have yet to determine the 'pass-on' readership numbers.

How do you prevent false subscriptions from spammers and bots?
Our subscription process is a closed loop process, meaning that a subscribe email is replied to with a request to confirm the subscription. This simple but effective system provides the minimum impediment to subscription, but eliminates false subscriptions. Every confirmed subscriber has made a conscious decision to 'opt in' and receive our weekly bulletin. Given the specific nature of our bulletin, we are very confident that an overwhelming majority of our subscribers have a genuine interest in the content.

How do you eliminate email addresses that are no longer functional?
Our mail list manager server records the delivery 'handshake' of the receiving mail server for the delivery of our email bulletin to each subscriber. If the bulletin is not successfully delivered to a particular address, our server periodically 'probes' the receiving mail server to see if the message is deliverable at a later time. If the mail remains undeliverable for a specific period, the subscriber's email address is automatically deleted from the subscriber list.
