We are partnered with a State Government Department in Oxley to recruit a HR systems and processes coordinator.
Your new role
Join this State Government Department as a HR system and Processes Coordinator. The role will be managing the rostering team, providing advice relating to the rostering framework and HR practices in alignment with the award and then a systems component of creating efficiencies in the process through emplive and testing rule sets. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and coordinate a team to facilitate the centres, rostering, payroll, and establishment management processes.
- Oversee HR systems, including evaluations, continuous improvement, and training for staff and system administrators.
- Maintain records of centre management, rostering, and payroll in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and/ or standards.
- Ensure compliance, audit, and quality assurance processes are completed accurately and timely for rostering and payroll functions.
- Monitor fortnightly schedules for overtime, higher duties, and other workforce arrangements; provide feedback and advice to management.
- Liaise with management on workforce planning issues and coordinate with operational workgroups on payroll and HR administrative functions.
- Prepare submissions, reports, correspondence, and executive briefs on significant HR issues.
- Deliver high-level solutions to improve rostering and payroll services, contributing to organisational objectives and projects.
- Contribute to evaluation of HR services and initiatives to ensure they are directed to supporting the department's business outcomes.
- Working in Oxley as the main site, with once a fortnight working at Brisbane Youth or West Moreton.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need to:
- Come from a HR background
- Rostering experience
- Hold a Blue Card
- Ability to coach a team and facilitate feedback regarding poor performance and attendance.
- Trained in and able to understand a rostering framework, complete roster analysis and evaluation.
- The ability to support the HR Support Officer in leading the team and working and testing systems enhance features.
