Seeking an AO5 WHS Administration Support Officer - Start ASAP
Your new company
Exciting opportunity for an AO5 WHS Administration Support Officer to support a State Government department - contract until 30 April, with extension possible.
Your new role
In this role, you'll be supporting and strengthening safety practices across a diverse operational environment - this includes:
- Support the administration of the organisation's Health & Safety Management System.
- Coordinate WHS training sessions, including working with external providers and maintaining the training register.
- Provide WHS&E advice to operational teams on safety processes, compliance and new technologies.
- Lead and assist with site safety audits and inspections for both internal and contractor work.
- Conduct and oversee incident and hazard investigations and support staff with reporting.
- Prepare WHS performance reports for senior management and assist with staff rehabilitation management.
- Complete all required WHS&E reporting on time.
- Train and guide staff in new WHS&E technologies, including asbestos and lead safety practices.
