HR Partners by Randstad is excited to announce we are partnering with a State Government Organisation to recruit two Resolution Support Business Partners within their Burwood based head office. This organisation puts passion into what they do, and currently undergoing a transformational change will elevate their mission to the next level.

The role will collaborate with functional specialists to facilitate the early intervention, prevention, and soluitions to comlpex employee relations issues, including interpersonal conflict and complains. The role is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity and offers flexible working arrangments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored advice, conduct preliminary assessments, and recommend resolution methods per complaint policies.
  • Self manage, as well as assist leaders with managing cases, liaise with investigators, and handle outcomes and resolutions of workplace complaints.
  • Offer management, support, and expert advice on entitlements, processes, and procedures
  • Coach and mentor leaders and secondees on case matters and processes.
  • Facilitate programs like Behavioral Standard sessions for volunteers and staff.
  • Build relationships with all stakeholders to enhance HR activities and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain effective relationships with People Experience and People and Culture teams to support policy implementation.
  • Follow the Organisations 'Safety First' approach in all activities, adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Uphold principles of the Human Rights Charter, Public Sector Code of Conduct, and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion, adhering to D&I policies
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Several years of Human Resources within a similar role - with a strong Employee Relations focus
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and supporting managers and individuals in situations involving conflict
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience working within the Government Sector (VPS or APS) would be advantageous
