Your new company
A leading cultural institution in the Northern Territory is seeking a strategic and people focused leader to join its team as Head of People and Culture.
Your new role
This role is pivotal in shaping the organisation's workforce strategy, fostering a culture of inclusion, and supporting the delivery of nationally significant programs in the arts, sciences, and heritage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the organisation's People and Culture strategy, aligned with its strategic and operational goals.
- Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation, embedding inclusive practices and supporting reconciliation initiatives.
- Provide strategic HR advice to the executive team, contributing to organisational development and change management.
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing through proactive initiatives and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally within the public or not-for-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of contemporary HR practices, employment law, and organisational development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic workforce initiatives and drive cultural change.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
