Your new role

As a HR Administration Officer, you will provide effective and timely administrative support across the employee lifecycle in a 6-week contract with an ASAP start. You'll play a key role in onboarding and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting recruitment administration, and ensuring compliance documentation is up to date.

Working closely with the People & Culture team, you'll manage HR systems, monitor shared inbox enquiries, assist with policies and documentation, and support audit readiness activities. This role is critical in delivering a smooth employee experience while ensuring strong data integrity and operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a busy administrative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Experience supporting onboarding, compliance tracking, and HR systems
  • High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in document preparation and formatting
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond to HR enquiries professionally
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Desirable: Experience in community services, disability, or aged care sectors, and familiarity with HR systems.
