The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing HR support and advice across the business while ensuring the seamless and accurate administration of key HR programs. Over a 13-month fixed term duration, a core focus of this role is the end-to-end management of the company’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) program, requiring meticulous attention to detail, strong stakeholder coordination, and advanced Excel expertise. Your main duties will include but not be limited to;
- Provide expert HR support and guidance to management and employees on a range of HR issues, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Manage employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian workplace legislation and organizational policies.
- Facilitate employee training and development initiatives to support career growth and skill enhancement.
- Advise on workplace health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian regulations.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, programs, and initiatives across the business.
- Assist with conflict resolution, mediation, and disciplinary processes, maintaining a fair and respectful work environment.
- Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Stay updated on Australian labour laws, awards, and industrial relations practices, and advise management on any necessary changes.
- Maintaining accurate records of STI program participants.
- Other ad hoc duties as per directed.
We are looking for a passionate and proactive HR professional who thrives in a dynamic work environment and has a strong commitment to driving positive employee experiences. You’ll bring both strategic and hands-on HR expertise, with a focus on fostering a supportive and compliant workplace culture. You will also obtain the following;
- Degree qualified or equivalent proven experience.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering role.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing incentive programs and understanding of reward structures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
