Our client is one of Australia's most established and reputable medical research institutes doing very impactful work in the prevention and treatment of numerous diseases.

This exciting role will sit in the HR team, reporting to the GM of HR, working in a fast paced environment and managing generalist human resources support across the business along with championing learning & development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide partnering and coaching to leaders across the business regarding employee relations, disciplinary matters, industrial relations, enterprise agreement and legislative requirements
• Interpret and provide practical working advice to leaders and employees for legislation, policies and fairwork practices
• Deliver an engaging induction plan, staff training and learning and development initiatives across the business
• Identify, coordinate, market and execute L&D initiatives and opportunities across the business
• Assist in implementation and initiation of new HRIS platforms

Key Competencies:

• Degree qualified in HR, Business or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years experience in generalist HR roles
• Strong knowledge of workplace legislation, Fair Work & EA's
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
• Outstanding consulting and communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multitask
