Your new company

An established and growing organisation within a fast‑paced, operationally driven sector is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team. The business is undergoing significant transformation, with large‑scale national projects underway and a strong focus on creating consistency across state‑based operations. You will join a supportive HR team in a values‑driven environment with the opportunity to influence both strategy and day‑to‑day HR delivery.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will provide both operational and strategic HR partnering across multiple divisions, supporting leaders across WA, VIC and NSW. This role has a strong employee relations focus while still offering breadth across generalist HR, organisational development, and strategic initiatives. Regular travel to the East Coast will be required.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing operational HR activities including probation reviews, exit interviews, VISA compliance, policy updates, and annual salary/bonus reviews.
  • Supporting organisational development initiatives such as performance appraisals, succession planning, career pathways, diversity activities and divisional strategy alignment.
  • Providing expert ER/IR advice across Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and common‑law contracts, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Preparing and delivering training material on HR processes and initiatives to leaders and employees.
  • Supporting upcoming Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
  • Managing ER casework including conduct, performance, breaches, grievances, safety incidents and fitness‑for‑work matters.
  • Reporting on HR metrics and recommending improvements.
  • Coaching leaders, building strong stakeholder relationships, and providing consistent HR advice.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of HR systems, policies and processes.
  • Ensuring strict confidentiality and professional integrity.
What you'll need to succeed
  • HR Business Partnering experience in logistics, construction, resources, manufacturing, or similar blue‑collar environments.
  • Strong ER/IR capability, ideally with exposure to unionised workforces.
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail and consistency across decision-making.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement across geographically dispersed teams.
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions‑focused approach.
  • Ability to manage high‑volume and complex ER matters.
What you'll get in return
  • On‑site parking and a refurbished office environment.
  • Regular interstate travel and exposure to national HR partnering.
  • Supportive team culture with autonomy and variety.
